About this chapter
The Sikh Students’ Association of UBC was established in 1985 and is a way for students at UBC to connect with each other and with Sikhi while making impactful contributions to the greater Lower Mainland community. As a club, we hope to make learning about and experiencing Sikhi more accessible to university students and foster a positive community for Sikh students. Our club hosts multiple large-scale events each year including langar days, kirtans, and social events for all interested university students.
